KYPRIS Articles

by Xenia Makridou

I feel as though it would be a natural sort of consequence that as I begin writing articles for the online newspaper Kypris, I might result in blogging less in amount and in frequency.

I’ll try not to, however. Kypris Articles should be rather unrelated to what I blog about – which is more personal and abstract. It’s a difficult task – even though it might not seem – for someone to be able to choose what to include in an article for a newspaper, in a blog, on Facebook, on Instagram, or in any other sort of social networking site. It requires practice and a really good knowledge of what each of them means to the person who owns them and how he/she wants to use each of them. But as with all things, practice makes perfect, and you get used to it.

I just don’t want to ever feel like I’ve run out of things to talk or write about. That would be like I have exhausted all my reserves of experiences – and ‘life’.

In any case, right now, I can proudly say ‘I’m a writer at Kypris.’ And this makes me happy.
